Research developer

We are looking for a passionate and creative colleague to join the Geodan Research team. Our team has been at the forefront of Geo-IT innovation for more than 35 years. Through our creative approach and drive, we constantly seek new opportunities to use the latest techniques for the social and environmental challenges of today and tomorrow. We like to test new technologies capabilities, dig into data and develop concepts into working prototypes. Years ago, for example, we contributed to the now successful concept of Digital Twins within our geo-application. We have further developed and implemented this for various clients including Amsterdam Municipality, Rijkswaterstaat, Helmond municipality, Province of Brabant and more. Because the world is changing fast and there is a lot of challenging work in the application of AI, point clouds and sensor data, we are looking for a new all-round Geo-IT crack.

Do you recognize yourself in this?

You have an academic education in the field of ICT or spatial studies (e.g. geology or geography);
You have (some) experience with a wide range of software development techniques;
You are familiar with AI, machine learning, point cloud data, earth observation, scripting languages and version control software such as git;
you are curious and take initiative and are confident in your ability to quickly learn new things;
You are creative in developing your own ideas and like to share them with others;
You are a recent graduate or you already have a few years of experience.
